The mens replica JeanRichard Highlands Big Life Limited Edition (ref. 60140-13-60B-AN6D) automatic watch offers you the familiar cushion-shaped case and the time-proven JR1000 in-house self-winding caliber. This year alone we have seen numerous examples of different watchmakers donating money for different NGOs.
In may Hublot announced Big Bang Black Magic amfAR BANG Limited Edition watch, also donating an undisclosed amount of money to the US-based amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) NGO.
Big business all over the world has a longstanding history of partnership with different non-governmental organizations that fight for a good cause. Naturally, watchmaking brands are no exception here.
In January Omega introduced its Hour Vision Blue model promising to deliver a minimum of “a million dollars to ORBIS International [an organization that fights preventable blindness] over the next four years.”
Even Girard-Perregaux created a unique version of its ww.tc World Wide Time Control Chronograph to be sold at Green Auction that also raises money to save the planet.
A couple of weeks earlier Louis Moinet introduced its Geograph Rainforest Limited Edition watch with a part of its income going to support the PULAU BANDING Foundation, which “aims to promote sustainable development of the rainforest ecosystem of the Belum-Temengor Rainforest Complex.”
Well, it looks like it was JeanRichard’s time to join the cause.
Their new fake JeanRichard Highlands Big Life automatic watch was issued to support the Big Life Foundation, a charity that “seeks to preserve the ecosystems in the African savannah.”
The first of all, its generously 44.50 mm x 40.00 mm x 11.96 mm cushion-shaped stainless steel case, as well as the setting crown was treated with matte black PVD coating.
Judging by the photos, guys at JR took their new Highlands Sand Automatic GMT watch as a based model and slightly modified it here and there.
Then they got their signature notched rotating bezel with an extra set of Arabic numerals printed on it (so that it can serve as a second time zone indicator) and painted it in a matte green.
As a final touch, they printed a prominent Big Life Foundation logo at the timekeeper’s face at 6 o’clock.
As the base model, the new JeanRichard Highlands Big Life is powered by their in-house JR1000 automatic movement.
Its large Arabic numerals are painted using bright green Superluminova, while the broad hour and minute hands (as well as an arrow-tipped central seconds hand) are covered with white luminous substance of the same variety. Even the base color of the calendar wheel was changed to white so that the small date aperture would be immediately visible even if you see the watch the very first time of your life.
May be a good choice for those seeking for a military-styled, rugged-looking watch and willing to spend a buck or to for saving of the planet.
Since JeanRichard has a relatively long history of building replica JeanRichard diving watches, the new timekeeper offers an absolutely unrivalled level of legibility.
