The dazzling replica ladies’ Zenith Star Moonphase wristwatch comes to international markets sporting a nicely executed cushion-shaped body, which is elegantly decorated with a number of finely cut diamonds of different shape and size. Being just 37 millimeters in width, the watch looks absolutely gorgeous in its simple, understated beauty. The impressive thinness of the body comes courtesy of the razor-sharp Zenith Elite 962automatic caliber that, despite its height of less than 4 millimeters, still manages to store enough energy to keep the watch going for more than 50 hours after being fully wound.
Their recent collections, too, seemed to lack timekeepers of this shape. To my great joy, at the last Baselworld 2012 trade show, the brand has returned to its roots and introduced a gorgeous cushion-shaped model to its Star family of ladies watches.
Although the open-heart model doesn’t look especially interesting, the new Zenith Star Moonphase ladies watch gives you all the understated elegance that you may expect from a vintage-styled timekeeper produced by a brand of such a distinctive pedigree.
Back in the early decades of the 20th century, the Swiss watchmaking house was known for its cushion-shaped watches. However, as time passed, the design was effectively dropped from their product range and replaced with more traditional circular-shaped cases.
Although during the last couple years we have seen a great number of decisively oversized timekeepers that were designed for decisively emancipated ladies, this best fake Zenith Star Moonphase model comes in a moderately-sized body of only 37 millimeters in width. Sporting very short lugs and being just over 10 millimeters thick, the watch seems to fit almost any wrist size.
As far as I understand, the watch is based on their recent 16.2310.692/02.C706 model, but features more prominent Roman letters and is supplied with less boring-looking, leaf-shaped hour and minute hands. Still, the movement is the same.
Its ultra-thin bezel still leaves enough real estate for the watchmaker to decorate the polished body with 28 diamonds of different size that look especially great on the stainless steel case. Giving Zenith’s designers their due, I must admit that the version in 18-carat rose gold also looks quite elegant with its chocolate brown alligator leather strap and gold accents on the dial.
The brand expects the watch to be sold at a minimum price of $9700 (that will depend on the part of the world you happen to live in,) but I am fairly sure that soon the timekeeper will be available at a more interesting price.
